Here's my retrospective on quilt-making in 2009. (Here's my 2008 review.)
So I made fewer quilts in 2009 than 2008 - only seven. Six baby quilts and one throw sized quilt. I did some other patchwork as well - some blocks for the Common Threads quilt bee, some baby bibs, a wallhanging.
Projects planned for 2010:
- A mustard colored baby quilt (in progress)
- Finish my Common Threads quilt (front done, need to do the back)
- A baby quilt in reds and blues (may opt out and gift something from the baby quilt stash instead)
- A black and white quilt (ordered a bunch of Kona fabric)
- ?
Quilting goals for 2010:
- Less wonky, more geometrics
- Traditional quilt patterns in modern fabrics (like a version of this super rad star quilt)
- Design more of my own quilt patterns
- More risks with color
(Of course, I'm also hoping to be more productive at work, which could prove to be incompatible with these quilting goals.)

I love all of the colors in these quilts! I have to make a baby quilt this week for a friend and I think I'm going to go with a variation on the first quilt in the second row.
I'm impressed with your past and future! The montage of quilts is great.
I love seeing your vintage fabrics at work here!
