Another Bauhaus-inspired piece. My last effort at translating Bauhaus into quilt was based on a glass piece by Josef Albers. This one is inspired by an Anni Albers tapestry.

The back is my own design.

Mostly Kona cottons, but the gray is a Quilters' Linen to give just a smidge of texture.

Quilted with simple horizontal stripes. Basic gray binding.

At least one more quilt on my list of projects to finish before Christmas. We'll see how that goes...

Very very cool. Very modern. Love it. Gotta show this to my girls.
Love the colors. And, like that you look to other art forms for inspiration. Maybe I'll have to try that with knitting.
love this quilt, and the back is just awesome!
Beautiful quilt. Love the colors and the design. It inspires me to focus on design inspiration from other sources. Thanks for sharing.
Neat quilt, looks like you've had some lookers :) Very artsy.
It's great - the back in particular appeals to me!
I love the back, how did you do that? The yellow bits look wonky but in an orderly way, v nice!
