So when I ever get any recognition for what I do in my spare time, it is pretty fun.
Last year, my blog work made it to print, when two of my cupcake designs were published in 1,000 Ideas for Decorating Cupcakes, Cookies & Cakes.

My second "appearance" in print is a product of accident and coincidence.
So you all remember the first quilt I ever made, right?

I had it stuffed away in my closet for years, so when I saw last year that eQuilter was collecting quilts for victims of the earthquake in Japan, I decided to donate it to the cause.
Flashforward to December, and I am reading magazines from my mom's massive supply of quilt magazines, and in an issue of Quilt...

there's my quilt on the far right.

totally counts as getting your quilt into a magazine, right?

Love this. You are entirely too modest. I'm sure the volunteers chose the best from among hundreds or maybe thousands for the photo. Your quilts are notable for their originality and what could be more important than that?
Congratulations on being published in two new areas...cupcakes and quilts. Love both :)
Did you sign Momoo's magazine for her?
These should both go on your c.v.
